Eileen Fulache Tupaz, PhD is a clinical psychologist, an international mindfulness meditation teacher and retreat facilitator, a well-being consultant and practitioner, and a former yoga teacher and yoga teacher trainer. Eileen obtained her Master’s Degree in Philosophy and her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University and she is a graduate of Dr. Tara Brach’s and Dr. Jack Kornfield’s renowned Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program and Mindfulness Mentor Training Program. Eileen’s work has impacted thousands of individuals and dozens of organizations since 2011. In supporting people in enhancing their overall well-being and fostering their personal growth amidst an increasingly precarious world, Eileen uses approaches that are based on mindfulness and compassion; that are centered on the body and sensitive to trauma; and that are informed and inspired by ancient wisdom traditions and contemporary scientific perspectives. Much of her public teaching these days is carried out through the global mindfulness meditation platform Banyan where she leads guided meditations, discussion groups and mentorship groups for people who are committed to cultivating mindfulness, compassion and wisdom in daily life.
