Maria Clarissa “Rissa” Coronel is a licensed psychologist who earned her MA in Psychology from the University of the Philippines-Diliman in 2024 and her undergraduate degree in BS Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University in 2016. She began her clinical practice journey in 2023 with We Thrive, where she was able to blend her interests in developmental and clinical psychology. Her work includes psychological assessment, executive function interventions, and psychotherapy, often through a developmental lens with children and adolescent populations. She also helps facilitate group-based social thinking services through WeConnect programs.

Before that, she has contributed to research projects for institutions such as UPD Psychosocial Services, Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health, and Psychosocial Support and Children’s Rights Resource Center.
